Passionate followers of the actress are demanding that a person who breached a fence and grabbed the celebrity during the recent Wicked: For Good launch be taken into custody or deported from Singapore.

A widely shared video depicts the person identified as Johnson Wen pushing past media personnel and rushing toward Grande while the actors walked down a yellow carpet flanked by fans.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo immediately guided the surprised performer away from Mr Wen, who was seen being escorted out of the gathering by security officers.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram recently that he was "let go after being arrested", though legal records showed that he was set to attend court on the next day. It is uncertain if he was formally accused.

History of Disruptions

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Troll Most Hated", has disrupted a concert or event. His Instagram account contains videos of him disturbing other high-profile occasions, including jumping on stage at the pop singer's Sydney concert in recently and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers concert in the area last winter.

"There needs to be action applied against him as this is clearly a punishable act," commented an Instagram user, in a reply to a video Mr Wen shared of his actions.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" another Instagram user remarked.

Followers Show Disapproval Over Ariana's Safety

Many fans accused Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had discussed suffering from trauma-related anxiety after a suicide bomb attack at the finale of her 2017 show in Manchester, killing 22 people and harming hundreds.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" said another comment on Instagram.

Some supporters also criticised security officers at the Thursday event for not being sufficiently alert; while different individuals demanded online networks to remove Mr Wen's uploads.

Response and Premiere Information

In clips circulating online, Grande seemed surprised when she was grabbed by the individual. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed comforting her while Mr Wen was removed by guards.

Grande has not commented on the incident, and the remaining proceedings continued without further issues.

Many of supporters had congregated in a mass of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good international premiere in a Singapore shopping center, including several who had stood in line for as long as many hours before it commenced.

The film, to be released on 21 November, is the sequel of a two-part adaptation of the popular theatrical production Wicked, which centers on the unlikely friendship between two very different sorceresses.

The musical itself is a spin-off of the 1900 book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the character Glinda Glinda, was dressed in a rosé sequin dress at the event while Erivo, who acts as the villainous character, wore a black tube gown featuring roses.

They were joined by fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the top-earning movie of last year in the UK, and earned a dozen Oscar nominations, earning two for excellent wardrobe and set decoration.
